100 Fiddlers wanted!

Sign up today  with Mrs. Thompson at SPIFFS in St. Petersburg Florida. SPIFFS is the St. Petersburg International Folk Fair. Every year, all nationalities come together to celebrate our culture and what each of us bring to the table of America.

Learn how to sound like the bagpipes on fiddle, make fun animal sounds, and learn the traditional Scottish song Scotland The Brave.

Beginners welcome! We have a note for you! Even if you can’t play you can be our bagpipes and still join us this Saturday and be in the parade. All participants will need to wear black pants/skirt, and a white top with a Tartan Sash. If you have a Scottish costume that’s even better.

As a member of the Scottish Cultural Society I have soooo much fun doing and eating all things Scottish. Stop by for a visit to our tent this year for Scottish short bread, scones, lemon squares and fun Scottish crafts. There will be real Scottish weapons on display and scary Scottish tales will be told by Virginia Thompson that will scare and delight you. Musicians will be performing at the tent and on various stages during the fair.
